landrace cannabis strains. They originate from specific regions such as Afghanistan, Thailand, Jamaica, and Colombia. Each landrace developed naturally over time, adapting to local climates. Many modern strains are hybrids derived from these originals. Estimates vary, but dozens of recognised landraces exist worldwide, with some now rare due to cross-breeding.
