The key is "flexing" - learning to identify if someone is task-oriented or people-oriented, and if they're an introvert or extrovert. Now, I pick up on social cues to match their pace. If they want data, I give data; if they want a chat, we talk first. It’s not about being fake, it’s about being a more effective communicator. It really changed how I approach my team!
