U4GM Guide to Kinetic Fusillade Champion in PoE 3 28

Wait until level 40, finish the Library quest, and buy a Blasting Wand from the vendor. Before that, it's just not worth the headache. Another common mistake is stacking spell damage because the skill looks like it should scale that way. It doesn't. What you want is flat elemental damage on gear, plain and simple. Then at level 57, try to grab Mind of the Council. That helmet is a huge turning point. It's usually cheap very early in the league, and the difference is obvious the moment you put it on.

    Boss damage and staying alive

    Single target is better than people expect, but there's a small trick that really pushes it. Use Arcanist Brand to drop Tornado near the boss. Your projectiles can chain into it, and that creates extra hits that add up fast. It's one of those interactions that sounds minor until you try it and watch the health bar move. Defensively, Champion makes the whole thing much calmer to play. Shield Charge keeps Fortify up, and that fits naturally between totem placements anyway. Add the Totem Mastery that redirects part of incoming hits, and suddenly boss fights feel far less punishing. You're not immortal, obviously, but you've got time to react, and that's a big deal when you're learning mechanics instead of brute-forcing them.

    Who this build is really for

    This isn't a flashy map-blaster, and you will notice the dip when Arcane Cloak is down. So no, it doesn't play like Tornado Shot and it doesn't pretend to. What it does offer is consistency. It's safe, cheap to start, and very easy to take into SSF if that's your thing. More importantly, it gives you space to actually play the game instead of panicking through every rare pack.
