Ward doesn’t have to be perfect right now. He just has to show growth. Being better in team drills and sharp in two-minute situations is a real step. That’s where quarterbacks earn trust. Joint practices will be a real test, though. Bowles will throw a lot at him. There will be mistakes, and that’s fine. What matters is how Ward handles them. He does feel like a gamer. Those guys usually rise when things get real. less
