I recently left my job in UAE and received my final settlement, including gratuity. To be honest, I’m not fully sure if the amount I got is correct. I tried to understand the formula but it’s a bit confusing, especially when you consider basic salary and years of service. Out of curiosity, I also checked an online gratuity calculator UAE just to compare the numbers, and surprisingly the result was slightly different from what I received. Now I’m wondering how much gratuity did you guys actually get in UAE? And did you ever double-check your amount? Would be really helpful if people can share real examples or experiences so I can understand if mine is accurate or not.
